I’m Tayla, the owner, designer and maker behind Burns & Willow.

I’ve wanted to be a laser cutting artist since I was 18 years old. It was my dream to one day own a laser, create beautiful things for people and turn my creativity into my career.

Five years later, in 2021, I finally bought my first laser and that dream started becoming a reality. I spent the next few years learning, creating and growing, before rebranding as Burns & Willow in 2024 and taking the leap to make it my full-time career.

Since then, I’ve poured so much of myself into building Burns & Willow into what it is today. I design and create every order from my home workshop, but I’m also the person behind the messages, website, photos, content, packaging and everything else that keeps the business running.

I’m incredibly proud of what I’ve built. What I dreamed about at 18 is now the job I get to wake up and do every day — and I don’t think I’ll ever take that for granted.

Behind the scenes I have my fiancé Brock, who’s always there to lend a hand when I need one, and my little workshop companions — Chester, Abby and Stitch — who are never too far away.
